How this blog happened?
Well…it simply happened!

(After filling my racks with books for a long time, I realized that it is the time that I try my hands at writing about these books.)

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for stopping by ‘The Bibulous Bibliobiuli‘. I am a self-proclaimed avid reader with a huge appetite for books. One of my childhood dreams was to own a big bookshop as it would give me an unlimited access to books. I love to read different books irrespective of genres. After reading this blog, you will notice that I am a person of many varied interests and opinions. My book tastes go from Murder Mysteries to Historical Fiction to Non-fiction to so many others. Numerous thoughts come to my mind whenever I flip through the pages of a book. This blog is an attempt to give a place to these random thoughts and to express my views on the books I have read (or going to read in future). In other words, with this blog, I keep track of what I have been reading and share it with other bloggers.

In this blog, you will not only find book reviews, but also get to know different authors. The Authors this blog will profile are ones I have read and continue to read. Plus there will be beautiful quotes. I strongly believe in the power of quotes. While these quotes are generally confined to one or two lines, these contain a plethora of values. Occasionally you will also find some other things (related to books, of course) that I find interesting.

Kindly leave comments if you have something to say to me. I love comments. If you see anything factually incorrect, please feel free to correct me. And, if you disagree with my opinions (Think my opinion is wrong), let me know. Convince me why. I love a thorough argument.

Please feel free to follow if you like this blog. If you’re interested in connecting with me, please feel free to befriend me on various social platforms. I’m always interested in discussing books with other people.

I hope that you will enjoy this blog.

  1. Hi Pankaj. A lot of us, including yours truly, dreamed of owning a bookshop. But then you realize it would be impossible to sell any book? 🙂
    Thanks for following Equinoxio!
    Take care

    • Dear Equinoxio,
We see so many dreams in our childhood, and we find that life alters our plans. And yet, at the end, from a rare height, we also see that some of our dreams were our fate. It’s just that providence had other ideas as to how we would get there. Destiny plans a different route, or turns the dream around, as if it were a riddle, and fulfills the dream in ways we couldn’t have expected. Now, see this blog. Here I am, living in that magical bookstore of my childhood dreams…:)

Thanks for following The Bibulous Bibliobiuli. I really appreciate it.

  3. Thank you for your visit to my blog. I would have loved to own a book shop. With digital books so popular now I wonder if new paperback and hardbacks will remain popular. I definitely think second hand ones will always be in demand. I love to browse in second hand bookshops and look for that special ‘find,’ usually I leave with an armful of books.

    • There is no doubt that we are living in the world of digital books now. However, I still feel that physical copy of a book has its own charm and will always remain popular. I am also like you who love to browse secondhand book shops and leave with an armful of books. Thanks for following my blog. Keep visiting here. Will look forward to your visits.

  4. Hello Mr. PG. You liked one of the posts on my blog “Asperger: The Hyposocial Human” so I’m checking out your blog. I used to read avidly also, but my eyes get tired now. When I do read, it’s nonfiction related to studying the origins of Asperger, which involves much social criticism and science. Not exciting or soothing! I will return to read your posts; maybe I’ll get inspired to read.

  5. Just reading your introduction got me hooked. I too love to surround myself with books, and am, actually, a small dream to own a small bookshop when I retire. I am certain I will be coming back to your blog often. I like to discover new things: ideas, quotes, genres, authors, etc. Many thanks, Pankaj Goyal. It is always a life’s small joys to discover a kindred spirit!

    • I am delighted that you liked this blog. I will certainly look forward to your future visits. The older we get, the more we realize how rare it is important to discover a kindred spirit. This is the place where I not only try to fulfill my childhood dream but also express my joy of reading books.

  6. Hi,
How do you have time to read AND write? I am so busy blogging, I don’t have time to read. I’m a teacher and need to grade papers as well as find time to blog.
Thank you for visiting my site Reflections yesterday. I’m glad you liked my post “9 Proven Ways to Skyrocket Your Traffic”. It was well received.
    Nice to meet you.

    • Yes, I do teach some of the topics in my college. However, I am not a teacher. On the other hand, I am working a Research Assistant in the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology in one of the well known colleges of South Asia.
Thanks to you also for stopping by here. Keep visiting as it is nice to interact with you.
I loved your post so, once again, pleasure is all mine Janice…:)

  8. Hello Pankaj, I found your blog through Opinionated Man and wanted to stop by to say hello and to check out your blog. I’m really glad I came here because though I’m a little OCD with just about everything including genres of books I do appreciate the reviews and opinions of others and I can’t wait to dive in. ~Steph
